- The First Step is meeting with our Pool Contractor. He will personally meet with you to discuss your vision. Together with the design team Allen (our contractor) will create the tropical oasis of your dreams. From picking out your pool design, and tile selection, to equipment and features we will be there to offer our expertise knowledge.
After the design is finalized and approved by the home owner we will submit our plans to
the city to be approved. This process can take up to 30 days, but typically permits are processed in approximately two weeks.
Once the permit is pulled we will layout the pool structure. Then excavation will take place. Excavation is typically completed in one day for an average sized pool. Steel rebar is then laid to create a reinforcement for the concrete shell of the swimming pool.
Concrete is then shot into the swimming pool in a process called "shotcrete" application. We believe in using high quality material to build swimming pools, so that homeowner's do not run into costly inconveniences in the future. We use 5,000 psi concrete compared to gunite. This will give your pool a strong foundation.
The rough plumbing layout is laid out, following inspection from the county. We will test the pressure points of the pool to ensure everything is set up correctly.
Our deck crew will come in and pour your deck or install pavers around your pool area. The coping and tile of the pool are completed in the next step.
Pool equipment and electrical are installed. Our team will teach you how to run and operate your pool system. We are always available to answer any questions you might have for the future of your pool. If you decide, we can put you on monthly pool service. Our knowledgeable staff will take care of all your pool needs.
If the homeowner has chosen a pool cage or fence this will be the next step. The pool is almost complete! Our finish crew will come in and apply the selected pool finish, after the shell has been acid washed. We recommend using a stonescape finish, as it has a 20 year warranty, and prevents your pool from staining.
Due to code enforcement we must install a baby barrier (which may be removed and stored at any time, easily by the homeowner) or an alarm system on all doors and windows around the pool area. This ensures safety for your family and anyone that might visit your home. A last county inspection is completed.
We will clean up any construction debris and balance the swimming pool. Professional chemical balancing is crucial in the first 30 days of your new pool construction or renovation. The 30 day maintenance is our complementary gift to thank you for giving us the opportunity of working for you. We know you will love your new pool! Please feel free to ask us any questions you might have.
